The College of Ethnic Studies was forged from the efforts and sacrifices of students, faculty and communities committed to creating meaningful, excellent and productive links between the academy and the empowerment of everyday peoples of color and their communities. The work of the College has expanded, broadened and deepened since its founding in 1969.
Make a Donation to the Africana Studies Department
Please consider supporting the Department of Africana Studies with a one-time donation or with a monthly donation. Individuals who make a monthly donation of $100 or more ($1,200 or more annually) are recognized as Friends Circle donors.
Students and recent graduates who make a monthly donation of $25 or more are also recognized as the Friends Circle donors.
Individuals who contribute $5,000 or more annually are also recognized as members of the President's Circle.
