The Black Unity Center is conducting research on student engagement among students who identify as Black, African, or African American, and we are inviting you to participate. This study is called the Black Campus Pulse (BCP) Study. Participation in this research involves taking part in a focus group interview that will take approximately 40-45 minutes. It will also involve completing a short questionnaire which will take approximately 10 minutes to complete. Your participation or non-participation in this study will not affect you academically in any way. In order for you to participate in this study, you must return a signed consent form which will be provided at the Black Unity Center. All interviews will take place at the Black Unity Center. Information gathered will remain confidential, and will only be presented in summary for the purpose of publication and presentations (no participants names will be used).
